What I Found in my Inbox Today
It seems like each day I get a bunch of spam in my Inbox. Sure, I don’t tell anyone about it, but I guess over the years, I have signed up for a number of newsletters over the years, so it must have came from them – or somebody just figured it out.
Even though I am pestered with spam on a continual basis, once in awhile something good comes through. That is exactly what happened this morning.
There was an email about an Interesting SEO Challenge from Busby. To summarize the details, it was free to enter and prize money was up for grabs.
I immediately signed up and I am now competing for the big bucks. Okay, it is going to take some work and dedication, but I bet I have a shot at being number one (or at least in the top three). Good thing that I opened my mailbox today!
Our Big Project
My husband and I have been flipping houses for quite a few years now. We are currently working on the biggest project that we have ever taken on. We are converting a large house into four small apartments. One of the biggest tasks for the project was building four bathrooms. As there was not enough room in them for bathtubs, we decided on shower cubicles.
I am surprised at how little room the electric showers that we purchased take up in the small bathrooms. They look nice and the bathrooms seem to be very well put together. The project took is taking us a little bit longer than we had estimated at first, but we think we will be pleased with the final results.
We are almost ready to find renters for the four units and I am hoping that it will not be a big issue for people that they will only be able to take showers, rather than have a bath.
Losing My Zune Stuff
One of the most annoying things in life for me is when I lose something. You know that we have all done something such as forgetting your coat on the bus, your homework at school, or even your keys at a friends house. Not only is this very frustrating, but it can be really costly depending on what you have forgotten.
Today was a great example of how frustrating and angry you can get when you lose things. It all started off in the morning when I forgot my Zune Dock Cable at home so that I wouldn’t be able to use it at work. Definitely not the best start of the day.
Later on in the day, I found that my Zune Travel Charger was missing from my desk, and when I got back in the car, my Zune Car Charger was gone too.
I think that I will have to talk to the kids when I get home – someone must know where all of my stuff is.
The Best Home Insurance Rates
I have to admit that I am a little lazy when it comes to some areas of my life. I might not dress the nicest, or have the cleanest house, but that is okay. When it comes to things that matter, such as family, finances, and friendships, I excel like no other.
So when I was moving to Toronto, I knew that I would have to do some research on what types of home insurance were available, as well as to make sure that I would get the best deal possible. Now, the best deal to me doesn’t necessarily mean the best price, but it is a combination of prices and coverage that works out the best in my situation.
In order to figure out which company to do business with, I did a search online for "home insurance Toronto" and promptly requested a home insurance quote from each company that I could find.
Now, all I have to do is go through each one and pick the best one for me – that will surely take some time.
