Cell phones of today are a far cry from what they used to be. I remember how bulky and expensive the cell phones were only a decade ago.

Another important factor is the infrastructure cost. Wired land lines cost more to build and maintain than their cellular counterparts. Many developing countries can benefit from this, especially those that don’t have a land line network yet.

The number of available software bundles for apples cell phones keeps getting bigger and bigger. If the momentum continues we will soon experience a true mobile technology boom. If the trend continues, some years from now people will probably look at today’s cell phones with great disgust. That’s pretty scary huh?
